The International Institue of Information Technology is an autonomous institute started in 1998 with seed support from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute strives to combine highest quality education with pioneering research that can make a significant difference to industry and society. The Institute has an innovative curriculum in which stidents have the flexibility to select courses, and undertake projects.

High quality faculty are engaged in advanced research at the Institute. There are several academic-industrial projects running at our Research Centres. A number of technologies have been converted into free and commercial software. A company, based on a cutting edge product developed here, is being incubated by graduating students. Besides industrial projects a number of societal projects are at various stages of development.
