P.G. Programmes
The Communication Research Center offers the following research degree programmes.
1. MS by Research in Communication Systems and Signal Processing
2. Ph.D in Communication Systems and Signal Processing
There is scope for doing fundamental research in any area of communication engineering or applied research leading to the developement of state-of-the-art communication technology.
Eligibility
Anyone with a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related areas may apply for one of the degree programmes in the Center. Candidates with an MSc in mathematics/physics are also elligible.
Funds
Funds are available to support deserving candidates in terms of research assistantships and tuition fee waver.
Elligible candidates may apply for the regular admission into the stream `Communication Systems and Signal Processing' through the Institute's MS and Ph.D programmes . Other than through the regular admission to the Institute's MS and Ph.D. programmes, a candidate may also apply for a research scholar position in the center at any time of the year and may register for Ph.D at a later time based on his/her performance.
