About Me:

I am a professor at IIIT, Hyderabad and currently the Dean of Research and Development. I work in the Centre for Visual Information Technology at IIIT-H.

I work in the areas of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Image Processing, and Virtual Reality.

Current Research:

GPU Computing: Using modern GPUs for graphics and non-graphics applications

Ray-Tracing Implicits: Fast ray-tracing of algebraic and other implicit surfaces and its applications to point-based graphics

Video Manipulation: Processing on videos to bring out interesting content in them

Terrain Processing: Representing and manipulating terrains with high performance
